“Ninoooo~”

Nino ignored the whiny voice, eyes straight forward and continued drinking the plain water from the bottle. He remained ignorant at his begging doe-eyed leader, the latter’s lips pouting and brows creased to form a worried expression. Ohno grabbed the edge of Nino’s sleeves and tugged it forlornly. Finally, after fighting the temptation to forgive his adoring leader, Nino turned to the latter and relented.

“Why do you think me and Jun formed the plan for you that night?” Nino hissed. Ohno sighed and leaned back against the chair. Nino was still holding a grudge about that night that happened like almost two weeks ago. Oblivious to Ohno’s exasperation, the younger man carried on ranting.

“To think we left you guys alone so you can finally ‘do’ it and tell us the awesome first night experience. But what do I get in the end? Just a ‘Oh we kiss’??!” Nino continued venting his frustration.

“I think you just need to get laid yourself,” Ohno muttered under his breath. Nino stopped and glared at him.

“What did you say?”
“Err… Nothing!”
“Satoshi-kun?”

Ohno turned to look at the owner of the gentle voice. His boyfriend stood over him, a smile on his face. “Can I talk to you for a bit?”

“Hmm? Sure, what is it?” Ohno asked, still didn’t get the hint. Nino, who was beside him rolled his eyes and stood up. “Alright, alright. I’ll just go and bother Aiba or something.”

Sho nodded his thanks. Once Nino was out of earshot, he moved to the now vacant chair and sat down. Turning to face his leader and lover, he grinned.

“I just heard from the manager that we’re having a one day-break next Friday,” Sho began slowly. “There’s a new ramen shop that had opened in Okinawa. I heard the food there are pretty good. Do you want to go?”

“You’re not asking the others along?” Ohno asked blinking his eyes. Sho sighed and leaned forward an inch. “Why would I when I’m asking you on a casual date, Satoshi?

“A, A date?” came the stuttered reply. Ohno was blushing faintly. ‘Why am I acting like a high school girl? I’m
going to be 30 soon damn it!’

Sho chuckled huskily and nodded. “We’ve been together for nearly a month and we haven’t even gone on a date once,” Sho murmured. “And now since I’ve confirmed with the manager, I decided to ask you first before they told the whole group about it. Gave me the chance to intercept your thoughts about going fishing,” he added drily.

Ohno gave him a half-hearted glare though he couldn’t blame the newscaster for that accusation. If he was told he had a holiday, the only thing that came into his mind would of course be fishing. And he will depart first thing in the morning too.

It’s not that he doesn’t want to go. If it’s any consolation, Ohno wanted to be with Sho as much as possible. That’s how all the new couples felt. Both of them only get to see other twice a week the most since they are busy with their own individual works. But then again, even if they do went out, it’s not as if they can act like any other couples. Their company will have their heads off if some news reporters caught them holding hands. However, how can he reject Sho’s idea when the man was looking at him hopefully?

“Okay,” Ohno answered softly. Hearing his shy reply, Sho’s face beamed with happiness and excitement. Gently clasping Ohno’s slender yet manly left hand with his right, he shifted the chair closer, making sure to block the view of their linked fingers.

“I’ll come pick you up at 12 afternoon.”
“Alright.”

After that, they remained silent, merely enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Their hands were still linked, fingers gently and shyly rubbing with each other, only letting go when the staffs called for them.

Unbeknown to them, a pair of mischievous eyes was watching them, hearing every single word they had said.

Friday, 12 pm

“Hey Nino, are you about this?”
“Of course I’m sure!”
“But it’s wrong! We are invading their privacy!!”
“Shut up! If you think it’s wrong, the door is just beside you. No one is going to stop you from getting out!”
“B, But…”
“And besides, Matsujun’s here too and he’s not saying anything.”

Aiba turned around to the said man who was sitting at the back of the car. Jun sat with his arms folded over his chest, a sunglass propped on his nose. Leaning, forward, he let his sunglass slide down a bit and peered over the rim. Aiba sweat dropped. The youngest member was giving him a look, as if to say he isn’t doing anything wrong. As to expect of the prince of Arashi.

“And I thought you would be the first one to say no at his idea, Matsujun,” Aiba chided. Jun shrugged. “It’s not every day you see your members going on a date,” he said, defending himself at the accusing eyes of Aiba. “I
want to see how different they act around each other when they are alone.”

To think we even rent a car so they won’t recognize us,” Aiba muttered to himself disapprovingly. Jun rolled his eyes.

“Masaki stop complaining—“
“Ah! Ah!”

Their conversation was interrupted by Nino’s voice as the latter pointed to the front. Both of them moved forward, with Jun grabbing the back of Aiba’s and Nino’s seat.

A few meters away, Ohno finally came out of his apartment, decked in faded blue jeans and grey T-shirt, with a dull red long-sleeve checkered shirt over it. All he wore to hide his identity was a cap which he pulled down low, covering his eyes.

“Ahhhhh…” was the first thing that came out of Aiba’s mouth. Jun shook his head while Nino slammed his head on the steering wheel, away from the horn of course.

“He looked damn dull, our leader,” Nino hissed clucking his disapproval. “As always.”

Suddenly a familiar red car slowed down to a stop in front of Ohno and all three of them dove under, hiding from view. Jun peeked from behind the seat. Seeing the happiness on Ohno’s face, no doubt the driver was Sho. They watched as their leader smiled at the driver and got in the car without fuss.

“Nino-chan! Go, Go! Go after them!”
“I know, I know!! Don’t need to shout at my ear! Geez… To think you’re the one who was lecturing me just now…”
“Nino, shut it and drive!”
“I get it already!!”

With that, the silver car drove off, being careful not to follow too near, else their presences will be known.

“Hmm… The food here actually isn’t bad huh Satoshi?”

Ohno nodded his head, mouth filled with the delicious Tonkotsu ramen. Sho laughed at seeing his boyfriend, stuffing his face with food as though he hasn’t eaten in days.

“Slow down. The food isn’t going anywhere!”

Realizing what the younger man said was true, Ohno stopped slurping the noodle and smiled sheepishly. Now that Sho had his attention, the man continued talking.

“You have any thoughts on where we should go next?”
“I’ll leave that to you Sho-kun,” Ohno replied easily. “I just want to take it easy today.”

“Take it easy? Then how about the beach?” Sho suggested after giving some thought. Ohno raised his right eyebrow at the suggestion. Sho was wearing his long-sleeved black shirt, with a pair of black canvas shoes. Both of them were wearing jeans, no matter how much you look at it, it isn’t the most comfortable attire to wear while at the beach.

“We are wearing jeans.” Ohno stated plainly. Sho rolled his eyes at the obvious.

“We won’t be running on the sand,” he assured. “Just strolling on the pathway, to relax and talk.”

Ohno remained unconvinced, until Sho finally added in, somewhat reluctantly. “And you can watch the people fishing there.”

With that, the fish-lover immediately perked up and with an enthusiast ‘Okay!’, he resumed digging into his food. Sho can only sigh and wondered to himself again why must he fell in love with a fishing-obsessed man.

“Hey, hey can you hear anything??"
“Shhh!! I can’t hear them with you being so noisy!”
“Matsujun, you’re nearer! Hear anything?”
“Like Nino said, I can’t if you’re going to butt in with your endless questions every 3 seconds!!!”
“Man…. Why are you both being so mean to me?!”
“SHUT IT IDIOT!!!”“Sir, can I take your orders now, please?”

At the sudden interruption of a young woman’s voice, the startled trio stopped their quarreling and faced the non-too-pleased waitress. It’s a good thing they still have their disguises on. Two arashi members in the restaurant had already results in whisperings and staring, not to mention all five of them?

“Err… We haven’t decided yet,” Aiba answered apologetically. The waitress who had already heard the same reply for three times since they had seated, merely nodded stiffly and walked away to attend the other customers.

“Really we should have just order when we came in,” Aiba whined once the waitress was out of hearing range. Nino rolled and eyes. “If we do that, we won’t be able to listen to their conversation ‘cause then we had to listen to you gorging your food,” Nino said scathingly.

“I do not eat that loudly!”
“Yes you do! Like that time when we ate Yakiniku?”
“That was not gorging down! That—“

“Guys, quiet down!” Jun, who was getting tired of the verbal arguments, hissed. Shaking his head, he gestured at the couple seating a few tables away, he added. “I think I heard the word beach. Maybe they’re going there after this?”

“Seeing the happy look on Oh-chan’s face and Sho’s resigned look on his, I guess you heard it correctly.” Nino agreed, turning to face Jun and shrugged.

“Hey guys…” Aiba soft voice joined in.

“What, Aiba-chan? If you’re going to ask us to order food again…” Nino warned  while Jun merely frowned at him, thinking the same thing as Nino. Aiba look startled.

“Uhh... Actually that was part of it…”
“Forget it!”
“But what I wanted to say was, both of them had finished their food and are coming this way…” Aiba finished, pointing to the said couple.

Hearing that the other two immediately glanced and indeed what Aiba told them was true. Without further ado, all three of them looked down and pretended to be engrossed in the menus. All three were tense as the oblivious couple walked past only releasing a sigh of relief when the two men left the restaurant.

“Now can I take your orders, Sir?” came a familiar voice. They looked up to see the same waitress, a smile on her small round face, holding a pen in one hand and a notepad in another. Apparently, she saw them browsing through and thought that they had finally decided to order something. But to her dismay, the three men stood up, preparing to leave.

“Sorry, something came up,” Jun apologized in a rush. “We changed our minds.”

“I’m really, really sorry!” Aiba added in continuously. “We’ll come here again someday!”

And with that, the three of them rushed out of the restaurant, leaving the dumbfounded waitress behind, with her still holding the pen and notepad in her hands. Recovering from her shock, she glowered at the entrance of the restaurant.

“Aww… And I thought I could get at least one of the guy’s numbers!”

“Hey Satoshi?”
“Yeah?”
“Is it me or was that group of men seemed familiar to you?”
“Which one?”

“The one sitting on the left side, near the cash counter,” Sho described. He stopped walking and rubbed his chin with his right hand. Ohno, who was walking in front of him, too stopped and turned around. “What is it?”

‘I could have sworn I just saw Nino, Aiba and Matsujun back there.’ Sho mused to himself. ‘Nahh… it couldn’t be…Could it?’

“Sho-kun?” Ohno asked. Sho looked over to the puzzled man and shook his head. “It’s nothing.”

He resumed walking towards Ohno and together they walked side by side to Sho’s car. However before they could reach it, a feminine voice cut in through the peaceful atmosphere. A voice Sho knew of so well.

 “Ah! I’m sorry!”

Both of them spun around at the sound of the cry of a young woman. They saw a brown long-haired woman, who looked to be in her late twenties, bowing her head to apologize to the man she had bumped into. After the man had walked away, she looked up, straight at Sho’s face. Sho’s eyes widened and he accidentally blurted out loudly to the woman.

“Seika-san??”

bwahahaha! *sigh and wipes eyes*
sorry for being so forward, but this fic is just crack!
i love it man, i love it
don't even care if this chapter don't have much romance though i had
looked forward to it when i started this series
the interaction of the arashi members is enough, really
maybe all the stories i've read so far are only full of drama, pain, and no play
so that's why this one is so cool
i totally see them, the members in their roles
sorry for commenting so long! Thanks for writing!<3
edit: ah, gomen but gotta add that the TRIO totally shines in this series!
